Health Related Educational Grants
The Foundation regularly sponsors education activities including symposia, workshops and seminars for the public as well as health care professionals. These activities are carried out in cooperation with recognized local, nonprofit organizations.

Health education grant requests are reviewed by the Grants and Education Committee on a quarterly basis and should be submitted by October 1, January 1, April 1 and July 1 for consideration within the next quarter.  Applicants will be notified shortly after a decision has been reached on the proposal.  Applicants should allow a minimum of eight weeks for a decision to be made on a request.

Appropriate recognition of SLF sponsorship should be included in all materials including program promotion and acknowledgement of the event.  SLF staff will provide copies of SLF logo and other graphic guidelines and need to review all materials in advance of printing or posting.
