Application Process
Applicants must either reside in Whatcom County or have graduated from a Whatcom County high school.  (download application)

Interested students should complete the application packet and provide supporting information by May 31, 2012.

By June 1st of each year the Grants Committee Scholarship Review Subcommittee shall make recommendations on qualified applicants for approval by the Executive Committee or Board at their next regularly scheduled meeting.

Successful scholarship candidates will be notified in writing of the award and the scholarship amount will be awarded with receipt of documentation of enrollment in a qualified nursing program and corresponding classes.

Once a candidate is selected they may automatically renew their scholarship for three additional years providing they have maintained a GPA of at least 3.0 or higher in their nursing related courses and they can provide documentation of continued enrollment in their nursing program.
